A man and van price in Harrogate is the cost of a defined job, not a number we can print for every reader. Two “small moves” can be a sofa and six boxes, or three bedrooms and a fridge. This note explains what you are paying for. The service is man and van.
What the quote covers
The van, a crew that can carry the pieces safely, blankets and straps, and the time to load, drive and unload the list you sent. Standard beds and tables can be taken apart and rebuilt if we agreed that. Insurance is provided. Ask what is covered when you book.
The quote is in writing, with no obligation until you accept it, and it stays valid for 3 months. If the pile in the hall is larger than the list, we stop and agree a change before loading.
What sits outside it
Packing a kitchen is extra. A second address is extra. A long wait for keys is extra if it runs past a normal handover. Rubbish you hoped we would take to the tip is extra unless it is written in. We do not disconnect gas, water or a fridge water line.
Stairs, a missing lift and a carry from a town-centre space all change the time, so they change the quote. A ground-floor door in Jennyfields or on Harlow Hill is a different job from an upper flat in the centre. Bilton and Starbeck are often straightforward, until a large sofa meets a turn in the stair.
What this is not
It is not a full house removal squeezed into a small van. If the list is a home, we will say so. It is not a fixed menu of routes to other cities. A longer trip can still be quoted. Tell us the address.
There is a moving cost calculator for the factors, not for a promised total. For a figure, get a free quote and attach a plain list or a photo of what is actually going.
