Pateley Bridge is the small town at the heart of Nidderdale, about 14 miles from Bewerley Road in Harrogate. The High Street rises steeply. Stone terraces open onto a narrow pavement. Parking near the library on Millfield Street is about 30 minutes. Southlands is the near pay and display car park, and Nidd Walk is the long stay. A front door on the High Street is often a carry from one of those, and the hill is part of the job.
Bewerley village is across the bridge. It is not 68 Bewerley Rd in Harrogate. The names clash, so we need HG3 and the street. There is no live station. The bus station is opposite Nidderdale Plus on King Street.
Insurance is provided. Ask what is covered when you book. A dale cottage and a house on the edge of town should not be quoted as the same carry.

Nidderdale school places are applied for through North Yorkshire Council. Secondary pupils may travel down the dale. Check the catchment for the house, including Bewerley village if that is the address.
