Directions from Wetherby to our Harrogate base
Wetherby is a market town on the Wharfe, about 10 miles from our Bewerley Road base. It is in the City of Leeds. Council tax, bins, schools and the tip are Leeds services. West Yorkshire Police answer 101 here. Spofforth, a few miles west, is still North Yorkshire. If you are moving across that boundary, do not assume the Harrogate bin day or the Harrogate tip.
The Market Place and the streets off it have terraces, flats and shops with little space at the door. Newer areas such as the estates towards the A1(M) have drives and wider roads. Race days add traffic on the approaches and the motorway junctions. A van should not sit in the Market Place unless the stop is legal.
LS22 is the usual postcode. Insurance is provided. Ask what is covered when you book.
See house removals for a local collection and long distance removals if the other end is further afield. Nearby: Spofforth and Knaresborough. Harrogate removals is based in Harrogate, not in Wetherby.
