Knaresborough is a stone town on a hill above the Nidd. The Market Place has flats and rooms over shops. Streets fall away towards Waterside, Bond End and the river. Gradients, bends and parked cars matter more here than the 4 miles from Bewerley Road. Wednesday is market day. The library page limits Market Place parking to two hours, and not on that day. Castle Yard, Chapel Street and Fisher Street are the longer-stay car parks, a walk from some front doors.
HG5 is the town postcode. A house on Manse Lane should avoid a Knaresborough Town home kick-off. A piano from a cottage above the river needs the stair and the gradient in the quote, not a standard house price.

Northern lists Knaresborough as an unstaffed station on the line between Harrogate and York, with a ticket machine on platform 1 and step-free access. The library page says the bus station is about a five minute walk from the Market Place.

Can you load in the Knaresborough Market Place?
The library page says car parking on the Market Place is limited to two hours, and not on Wednesday market day. A removal needs a legal stop, often a carry from Castle Yard, Chapel Street or Fisher Street.
Are the streets down to the river a problem?
Yes. Gradients and bends towards Waterside are hard for a large van. Tell us the exact street. We may park above the hill and carry, or use a smaller vehicle.
Do Knaresborough Town home games affect the town?
The Myrings is on Manse Lane, HG5 8LF, not in the Market Place. Streets near Manse Lane are busier on a Saturday or Tuesday home game. The Market Place is busier on Wednesday market day.
