Flat moves in Harrogate town centre

68 Bewerley Rd is about a mile and a half from Station Parade, so a town centre job is a short run. The hard part is where the van can stop, and which door the flats actually use.

Flat moves in the town centre turn on the stop, not the mileage. Parliament Street, James Street, Cambridge Street and Oxford Street are shopping streets. Montpellier, the Crescent and rooms over Station Parade rarely have a drive. Newer blocks may have a bay or a service yard, and the lift may be too small for a sofa. Our local team needs the floor, the lift size and the door you actually use.

The Stray wraps the south and east of the centre, so streets such as West Park and the roads off Leeds Road look open until you meet time-limited bays. A parking suspension is a North Yorkshire Council job before the day, not a conversation once the van is outside. Market traffic and Harrogate Town home games on Wetherby Road change how long it takes to reach Station Parade.

Most town centre postcodes are HG1. Insurance is provided. Ask what is covered when you book. A one-bed often fits a smaller van. An office above a shop needs the inventory and any evening access rule.

See flat removals for stairs and lifts. We also cover Bilton and Starbeck. Harrogate removals runs from 68 Bewerley Rd.

Moving in Harrogate Town Centre: common questions

Can the van stop on Parliament Street or James Street?

Those shopping streets are for people on foot for much of the day. Tell us the exact entrance. If the legal stop is a side street, the carry is part of the job and part of the quote.

Do Harrogate Town home games affect the centre?

The ground is on Wetherby Road, east of the centre, next to the hospital. Match traffic is heavier on the A661 than on Parliament Street, but Station Parade and the bus station are busier before an afternoon kick-off.

Do you move offices above shops?

Yes, when we have the inventory, the floor and any rule about evening access. Stairs behind a shop are often tighter than a house staircase.
